BRD Group Société Générale’s Romania!
This forward-thinking initiative reimagines the retail banking experience across two pilot locations: Bucharest – Plaza Romania branch and Ploiesti – Ploiesti Vest branch. Our challenge was to design a cost-effective, highly adaptable environment that could flex from compact 100 sqm sites to flagship branches over 250 sqm, all while maintaining a consistent physical expression and modular design.
The result? A warm, welcoming, and barrier-free space that shifts the focus from transactional banking to human connection. These branches are designed to support a hybrid, cashless future, enabling staff to take on universal roles in sales, advice, and digital education, while technology automates day-to-day transactions.
This two-year journey covered everything from strategic planning to construction oversight, including MEP, HVAC, and local permitting, with two successful builds now complete.
